Meet the 2026-2027 Executive Board
President
My name is Mason Sill, and I am a senior from Edina, Minnesota majoring in Neurobiology on the Pre-Medicine Track. Being president of MED, I hope to provide a variety of medical opportunities to all pre-health students and cultivate a strong sense of brotherhood within the organization. Besides studying, I enjoy playing football, pickleball, lifting, and doing anything outdoors.

My name is Jack Kusumpa and I am a sophomore from Naperville, Illinois. I am majoring in Exercise Science on the Pre-Physical Therapy Track. My hope is to expand on this position by getting more involved within MED at Iowa and Nationally. I want to build tradition within the fraternity that leaves a mark, not just on our chapter, but also our campus!

My name is Victoria Lysek and I am a senior from Roselle, Illinois. I am majoring in Interdepartmental Studies on the Health Sciences track with an Entrepreneurial focus on the Pre-Medicine Track. As Vice President of Communications I will continue to advertise MED across the University of Iowa campus and connect with local volunteering opportunities to market MED to the local community.

My name is Peter Barnes and I’m a sophomore from Oswego, Illinois. I’m majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology on the Pre-Medicine Track. As Vice President of Membership Development I plan to organize and execute a fair and fun rush process for all potential new members. I also aim to create experiences to develop member’s academic and social connections within as well as outside the fraternity. In my free time I like to lift, play volleyball, read, and play guitar.

As Vice President of Professional Development I would like to expand our reach with nearby graduate programs and provide experiences for members to have a better understanding the different roles in healthcare.

As Vice President of Finance I would like to organize fun and engaging fundraising events, and manage our money and collaborate with other members of exec to put together fun and engaging events.
